Flyweight Louis Gaudinot's recent win over Phil Harris has been overturned to a no contest after he tested positive for a banned diuretic.

The 29-year-old Gaudinot originally defeated Harris via first-round submission at the UFC Fight Night event in London, England, on March 8. However, the promotion, who serves as the regulatory body in England because there is no athletic commission in place, announced Friday that Gaudinot tested positive for hydrochlorothiazide, a diuretic found in water pills" used to treat fluid retention.

According to MMAJunkie.com, the UFC has also suspended Gaudinot for six months from the March 8 event date, and he must submit a clean drug test upon returning to action.

"I have great respect for the UFC the sport of MMA, and my opponent," Gaudinot said in a statement. "I would never do anything to disrespect any of them. I would also never do anything to tarnish my name, my teammates, and family.

"While I deny any wrongdoing, I will respect the decision of the UFC and look forward to getting back in the cage in pursuit of the UFC flyweight championship. I thank my family, teammates and fans for their support."

As a result, Gaudinot's record changes to 6-3 (1 NC), while Harris, who returns to action on July 19 against Neil Seery, is now 22-11 (2 NC).
